Registration of Inventions, Utility Models, and Industrial Designs
Before submitting an application for a patent, several important aspects must be considered and adhered to, such as the correct formulation of claims, which defines the scope of legal protection for the invention, since according to the current law, the extent of legal protection derived from the patent is determined by the scope of the claims defined that has been made available to the public (published), provided that it does not exceed the claims specified in the initial application. The formulation of claims is an art in itself and requires the direct involvement of skilled professionals in the field.

- Receipt of state duty payment
All documents must be in Armenian or translated
The content and form of the application must comply with the requirements of the Law of the Republic of Armenia on Inventions, Utility Models, and Industrial Designs dated June 10, 2008. It must be legible, and the description of the invention, utility model, or industrial design must be clear enough for a specialist in the field to reproduce the claimed invention:
The application must be submitted in writing directly, by mail, fax, or other electronic means of communication. The procedure for submitting the application and accompanying documents by electronic means is determined by the Agency.
